The photos now open full size, at least on the last post. It seems you had to do this before you posted a photo:

Before inserting a photo into a post, you need to click the “file URL” button, then insert it into the post. WordPress now keeps track of your choices so the next time it will remember and you will not have to press “file URL” again.

It really would have been nice to be told this. I know, I know, RTFM. Still, either we missed the announcement, or WordPress didn’t give a crap. It used to be automatic when posting before, that it would link to full size photos. Now, you have to choose that option. Bad wordpress, bad! Anyway, once you do click on the button, it memorizes your choice so you don’t have to do it each time you upload a photo. Still, did I mention it would have been nice to have been told this?
